Fashionmia - Pay with Paypal

Be careful with this place. I ordered close to $300 worth of clothes due to an upcoming vacation I was going on.

All items were listed as "In Stock" so I paid for expedited shipping in hopes of receiving them in time. I factored in the 3-5 day processing time. Ok....the 3-5 processing time came and went and it was still listed as "processing" so I filed a dispute with them saying that they offered false advertising for their processing time. I was contacted and told that only a few out of my 20 or so items I purchased were available to ship and that the rest would ship at a later time because they were not in stock.

What if I never filed a dispute??? I would have never knew the items were unavailable because they would not have contacted me. So I attempted to cancel my order. I was then contacted and told that they will ship my available items and cancel the ones that were not in stock.

No thanks! Dont tell me you will ship anything out to me because my order should have been cancelled....I know this game. If you ship something out then I would have to pay loads of money to ship back on my own expense and how would I know you wouldnt ship out more merchandise....just to keep my money? Once things are shipped....I would be screwed out of a refund.

So right then and there I filled out a dispute with Paypal and right there after filed a claim with them...so that I would get my full refund back.

If you pay with a CC or Debit card on their site, they will *** 15% of the refund. But if you purchase with Paypal you will get your whole refund back. Be smart people.....use Paypal. I wish I would have read the reviews beforehand.

I am reading them now, and this place only has 2 stars....listed on this site and others. I read of horrors of people not getting refunds, emails being ignored, clothing looking nothing like the ones online, clothing not fitting, seams busting out, seams too tight...giving the appearance of a ruched look. It appears as though FashionMia takes your money and makes the items as you pay for them, hence the 3-5 day processing time. Maybe their business model is "Just in Time" so that they cut costs on inventory or lowering their overhead for an actual warehouse.

Who knows.....just go at your own risk and use Paypal. Needless to say....within one day of escalating my claim to Paypal I was issued a refund from FashionMia.
