Resolved: FashionMia will not transfer my money to my PayPal as promised

After five months and some number of frustrated emails, the entire amount of the refund was finally transferred to my Pay Pal. For that at least, I am thankful.

(I must note that FashionMia Customer Support responded to everyone of my emails, albeit with excuses for the delay and promises to resolve the issue. Until it was resolved, that is.) Thanks to everyone who commented. I have seen quite a few negative reviews in regards to the store, unfortunately. I myself am definitely over compulsively clicking on pop up advertisements and adventurous online shopping from new unknown companies.

It is uncertain how successful international consumer agencies (such as econsumer.gov) are in helping individuals at this point.

I hope they will be in the future because online shopping is here to stay, it seems, and with it, problems of long distance communication/transactions (as well as opportunities for scammers). To all who are currently experiencing difficulties with FashionMia or any other company, my best wishes for resolutions.

On April 9, 2018, I requested to transfer my money in the amount of $178.44, which FashionMia held in something they call "My Wallet" to my PayPal account I originally used to pay for my purchases from their store. Their website promises that the money would be returned to PayPal upon customer's request. To this day, however, my money was not returned to my PayPal account! On May 15, 2018, I also requested to transfer the remaining in "My Wallet," $28.75, to my PayPal account. This amount did not appear back on my PayPal either. I have received emails from FashionMia assuring me that the delays would be resolved and the store is working on the issues, etc. I am being scammed!

I've had the same problem getting my refund 6 month later they are telling me they cant give me a refund because it be out too long. I emailed them every few weeks asking for a refund and nothing.

this company is a rip off. Try reaching out to the International Consumer Protection for help. you can find them on line. "The FTC also supports econsumer.gov, a project sponsored by the International Consumer Protection and Enforcement Network ICPEN and consumer agencies in more than 35 countries.

Consumers can use econsumer.gov to report cross-border complaints. Enforcement agencies can use those complaints to investigate fraud."

I ordered what I thought was a hooded bulky knit sweater, it took over 1 month to get it, after a few angry emails to them. I finally received a joke of a sweater, that looked NOTHING like what I ordered.!

it looked like it had been used, and was the ugliest sweater I have ever seen.

PLEASE,PLEASE, PLEASE don't order from them. You won't get what you ordered, and you can't return it within out a fee to China.

I have ordered from them prior and usually they would allow me to replace the item they claim is out of stock with another of equal value this time someone by the name Kitty took it upon herself to cancel my order she claims is out of stock and didn't even allow me the option to replace it with other items of equal value nor a refund I have been going back and forth with them trying to at least get replacement items in place of items I paid for and have not received and to add insult to injury they have the nerve to ask for extra money to send items which I paid to get shipped express already not only is that illegal they post on their site do not give extra money or credit card info to anyone asking for additional fees cause its fraudulently yet they are holding my money hostage and trying to illegal solicit extra money from me! !

This has happened to me with Kitty Mia, they have jacked me around since my order in September. They have quite a few excuses as to why they can't get me my order.

Now it is fraud, and I am doing everything in my power to get the word out NOT to order from these people. Next is econsumer.gov!

Disappointed with the quality of the dresses ordered.

Fashionmia: I am very disappointed with the merchandise (dresses ordered) from Fashionmia. The quality is not there as it is in the online pictures. I placed an order June 26 and got piece mill ordered items July 18. I still have not gotten all items ordered and it has been over 6-8 weeks. The ordered items comes in piece mill, not all together. I have send email messages and tried to telephone Fashionmia. Fashionmia do not reply to emails. I would like a refund and return items, but according to reviews, returning items to Fashionmia will be a double loss for me. I do not like the formal dress, bad quality. jbuggray@***.com.

Worst customer service ever ever.

They should not be allowed to be in business. Its been amost 5months and still didnot received my full order. The partial i received is nothing to the description and had to order 3 sizes larger than usual. They are totally dishonest unethical and if you are not careful will try to get you to pay shipping insurance and other charges. If you ever received any emails from them from paypal.com to make a payment of any sort its a scam, donot make tge payment I was given a coupon for a dress i return and one that was incorrectly style which i was offered to keep because the shipping charge was more than what it cost and when i tried to use it i could not and got the run around about it through emails till i just give up.

I ordered 3 items from fashion mia with payment thru pay-pal. Merchandise arrived 4 weeks later and items were of poor quality.

credit card company referred me to pay-pal they in turn gave me a number for fashion mia customer service. called all hour and each time reached record instructing me to leave order number etc. and a return call. no response.

pay-pal interceded and emailed me a $20 "partial refund," on a $71.00 order. I refused and indicated that I wanted to return items for a full refund. Pay-pal responded they "were not able to decide this case your favor." !!!!!

Both companies should be referred to the California Attorney general for investigation of their business practices. Order #B236****

Stay away!! The worst

An aunt visiting asked me to order 3 dresses for her. I personally placed the dresses into the cart and check out with paypal account for a $55 charge. I pick up my phone, saw a message from paypal for a $188 charge. I immediately went back to look what happened, thinking its a conversion of dollars, i saw that its US dollars. I reviewed the order and noticed that i was charged for 11 dresses instead of the 3 i placed in the cart. All of which are of different sizes. I emailed them and immediately called paypal. I was advised to wait a week. I did. No response from the merchant. Paypal then opened a dispute against them but only refunded me the 133, which is the difference of my total. As soon as the dispute is filled, fashionmia emails me. Telling me the money is frozen by paypal and i should close the dispute and they will refund my money, really!! Its now u want to answer the email!!! Now im trying to get the rest of my money from paypal as i will never receive this shipment. Unscrupulous people. DONT ORDER FROM THEM!!!

Do not order!

This company is horrible! They claim an average processing time is 3-5 days, but I didn't see any products delivered to my house for many weeks. Received several emails weeks later that items are out of stock and I need to choose something new, then the new item is also out of stock. Even though they have very detailed size information about each product, their measurements and mine do not match and almost all items were too small. They make it impossible to return items. No one responds to emails or returns calls and when you file a dispute you finally get a response which is that they cannot refund at the current time due to financial constraints. They are sending my items back to me, against my will, and expect me to pay the return shipping.

Delivery Time Hurts

I must confidently say that I enjoy the styles that Fashionmia has, unfortunately I am dissatisfied with the delivery process. When I place an order with a company I am expecting to receive all of my items at the same time. I was not expecting to receive it piecemeal... one or two at a time. As must as I enjoy the styles and for the most part the fabric as well, I am somewhat disappointed. The delivery time takes too long, longer than what you pay for and by the tome a receive most of the items ordered the summer will be almost over. I would like the opportunity to wear the items a few times before the end of summer. Not sure where I stand with reordering for the fall and winter. I will attempt to order as early as possible and if I run into the same problems I will have to give up my shopping as Fashionmia.
